..Still working from home and no idea when the gyms will reopen (Home workouts are not quite the same)
I still have a knack for unhealthy eating habits at times and whilst being more inactive this is not the best combination. Crisps is a large selling product in the UK but they are probably not the healthiest food on market and lets be honest we are spoilt for chance
However upon searching for healthier options I have found an alternative from a young entrepreneur who has provided this and with a range of flavours as well. The brand is called Sunmo which means 'come near, come together' in Yoruba. You can find their range on Amazon but you can also purchase these crisps in other Retail Shops such as Selfridges, Wholefoods and most recently Sainsburys.
This is also good for my vegan readers and those that really watch their calories. The crisps
uses fresh plantain as an alternative to banana where starch and sugar content is usually present. Using plantain still maintains the vitamin, minerals and nutritional content (including potassium, magnesium, and vitamins A, C and B6). Plantain is also high in fibre, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and is a source of easily digestible, complex carbohydrates. All this combined without the use of Palm oil which is found in a lot of crisps.
The uniqueness about this product is not only is it a healthier alternative to crips but each pack of Sunmo’s Plantain Crisps purchased provides a meal for an orphaned child in Nigeria.
